How Does The Planning Process Work?

You are welcome to be as involved with the planning process as you would like to be. If there is a certain aesthetic you are trying for we are happy to work with that! Planning your photo shoot can be lots of fun and helps ensure that you will be happy with the process and the end result.

We are also happy to work with limited input from your end…after all, it is what we do! Unlimited consultation goes with any photo shoot, so feel free to be creative or sit back and let us do the planning!

If you are planning your wedding with Dev Photography you will receive a document explaining the planning process.

How Do I Prepare For My Shoot?

Depending on the type of shoot you are going for you will want to ask your photographer what recommendations they have for dress. In general, lighter colors work well on outdoor shoots (so the subject stands out from the background).

If you want to incorporate props of any kind (sunglasses, scarves, toys, baskets etc..) be sure they come with you to the location or are easily accessible at your home.

If you are planning a studio style shoot be sure to consult with your photographer about the size of room needed to accommodate backdrop and lighting.

Where Will My Photo Shoot Take Place?

All Dev Photography photo shoots are on location. You are free to choose a location you like or have the shoot take place in your home.

What Kinds Of Shoots Does Dev Photography Do?

Weddings are, of course, on location! For portraits you have a choice of a "studio style" shoot, which includes a backdrop and lighting or a "photojournalistic" shoot which incorporates the surroundings of whatever location is being shot. Both of these shoots are done on location, so you are free to choose a location or have the photographer come to your home.

What Is Dev Photography Pricing?

Weddings begin at $3000 and Portraits begin at $250. To consult about your specific needs and for final quotes and package information please contact us, we'd love to give you more specifics when we hear what you need!
